Functions:
- Scans connected USB devices for folders processed by the Windows AVCHD Manager or multiAVCHD.
- Automatically changes the name of the current AVCHD folder to the 1st movie name defined in details.txt.
- Changes the selected movie directory name to AVCHD to enable playback through XMB.
- Displays a custom cover or screenshot icon (ICON0.PNG) if present in the movie directory. Up to 320×176 resolution supported.
- Allows deletion of movie directories.
Important Notes:
No FTP or copy mode is available, as there is no need when you can simply connect your USB device to a PC to copy files.
There is no ability to copy to the internal drive since AVCHD files do not work from there.
Installing Instruction :
CFW (Custom Firmware):
- Ensure your PS3 is running a compatible version of CFW that supports the installation of homebrew applications.
- Download the .PKG file.
- Transfer the .PKG file to your PS3 via USB drive.
- Navigate to the Package Manager in the XMB (cross-media bar) and select the Simple AVCHD Manager v0.2 package to install.
- Once installed, you will find the application under Game in the XMB. Run the application to manage and view AVCHD movies directly from your USB device.
HEN (Homebrew Enabler):
- Ensure your PS3 has Homebrew Enabler (HEN) activated, allowing the installation and running of homebrew apps.
- Download the .PKG file.
- Transfer the .PKG file to your PS3 via USB drive.
- From the XMB, launch HEN and enable homebrew support if it’s not already active.
- Use the Package Manager in XMB to install Simple AVCHD Manager v0.2.
