Unofficial REBUG Updater is a set of customizations and extra features for CFW 4.46.1 REBUG REX & LITE editions, 4.46.1 REBUG REX Cobra Edition & 4.53.1 REBUG REX Cobra Edition.

Unoff. REBUG 4.53 Updater Cobra Edition v4.53.2 Changelog:

  • Both AIO install or Individual install
  • Added webMAN MOD v1.30.29 Cobra Edition – Replaces built-in webMAN on flash (English only in AIO, Multi19 available in Individual)
  • Removed spoof (as @Joonie’s mod already spoofed)
  • Remote Play Patch included
  • Removed app_home/PS3_GAME included
  • Updated icon & backgrounds

Note: If you have any other version installed, please delete/uninstall before installing!

Installing Unofficial Rebug Updater v4.53.2 (CFW)

  1. Ensure Compatibility: Confirm that your PS3 is running one of the following supported REBUG firmware versions:
    • 4.46.1 REBUG REX & LITE editions
    • 4.46.1 REBUG REX Cobra Edition
    • 4.53.1 REBUG REX Cobra Edition
  2. Delete Previous Versions: If you have any older versions of the Unofficial Rebug Updater installed, delete/uninstall them to prevent installation issues.
  3. Download the .PKG File: Download the Unofficial Rebug Updater v4.53.2 package file (.PKG).
  4. Transfer the .PKG File to PS3: Use a USB drive or network transfer to move the .PKG file to your PS3 system.
  5. Install the Updater: On your PS3 XMB (Cross Media Bar), go to Package Manager > Install Package Files, then select the downloaded .PKG file to begin installation.
  6. Follow On-Screen Instructions: Follow any prompts to complete the installation process.
  7. Restart Your PS3: After installation, restart your PS3 to apply the changes and complete the process.
  8. Verify Installation: After your PS3 restarts, go to Settings > System Information to confirm the successful installation of the new version.

Installing Unofficial Rebug Updater v4.53.2 (HEN)

  1. Ensure Compatibility: Make sure your PS3 is running a compatible version of HEN that supports the installation of homebrew applications.
  2. Delete Previous Versions: If you have any older versions of the Unofficial Rebug Updater installed, delete/uninstall them to avoid conflicts during installation.
  3. Download the .PKG File: Download the Unofficial Rebug Updater v4.53.2 package file (.PKG).
  4. Transfer the .PKG File to PS3: Use a USB drive or network transfer to move the .PKG file to your PS3 system.
  5. Mount dev_blind: Before installing, you need to mount dev_blind to avoid the error code 8001003A. You can use multiMAN or another file manager to do this.
  6. Install the Updater: On your PS3 XMB (Cross Media Bar), go to Package Manager > Install Package Files, and select the downloaded .PKG file to begin installation.
  7. Follow On-Screen Instructions: Follow the prompts to complete the installation process.
  8. Restart Your PS3: After installation, restart your PS3 to apply the changes and finalize the process.
  9. Verify Installation: After your PS3 restarts, go to Settings > System Information to confirm the successful installation of the new version.
