MAMBA/PRX Loader v4.84.2 is a powerful homebrew tool for PS3 users that allows you to load MAMBA and/or VSH plugins using MAMBA or PRX Loader. What’s New in Version 4.84.2:
- Full Mamba Support: MAMBA support is now fully compatible from CFW 4.46 to 4.84 CEX/DEX.
- Partial Support for Older CFWs: There is partial support (no PS2ISO/PSPISO) for CFW 3.55, 4.21 to 4.41 CEX/DEX.
- Loading at Boot: Load MAMBA/PRX plugins at system boot or from XMB post-boot.
- CFW Features: Almost all features of a CFW Cobra are now available on regular CFW.
Important Notice:
This application is not supported on consoles with noBD. Please ensure your console has a valid Blu-ray drive to run this tool.
Installing MAMBA/PRX Loader v4.84.2 (CFW & HEN)
Follow these steps based on your system setup (CFW or HEN):
For CFW (Custom Firmware):
- Check CFW Compatibility: Ensure your system runs a compatible CFW version (4.46 to 4.84+ CEX/DEX).
- Mount dev_blind:
- Before installing MAMBA/PRX Loader, you must mount dev_blind on your device. This step is crucial to avoid the error code (8001003A) that would occur during installation.
- Install the Package:
- Once dev_blind is mounted, simply install the MAMBA/PRX Loader v4.84.2 .pkg file using the standard method on your PS3.
- Navigate to the XMB, select the .pkg file, and proceed with the installation.
For HEN (Homebrew Enabler):
- Check HEN Version: Make sure you’re running a version of HEN that supports the installation of homebrew applications.
- Mount dev_blind:
- As with CFW, mount dev_blind before installation to avoid any installation errors.
- Install the Package:
- Use your usual package manager (such as multiMAN) to install the MAMBA/PRX Loader v4.84.2 .pkg file. Select the file and begin the installation process.
Once the installation is complete, you can start using MAMBA/PRX Loader v4.84.2. The tool allows you to load MAMBA and/or VSH plugins directly from the XMB interface either at system boot or after boot. Enjoy the full functionality of MAMBA support on your system!
