XMBPD is a modded version of the XMB Package Downloader, offering a set of download links for PS3 packages in various categories. These categories include Backup Managers, Emulators & Games, Media Applications, Tools/Mods/Misc, Themes, and Wallpapers. The package also includes an enhanced game list for webMAN with the webMAN Launchpad, offering a better user experience with a modified “What’s New” icon for selecting games, designed in the style of the PS3_EXTRAS menu.

What’s New in Version 0.70:

  • Over 60 No-PSN pkgs Added: Thanks to @esc0rtd3w for the contributions (Source1, Source2).
  • Updated Key Packages: Includes updates to webMAN MOD, PSN Patch, prepNTFS, and ManaGunZ packages, with the addition of Gamepad Test v1.0.
  • PSN Category Enhancements: Added 10 new “PSN not required” apps to the PSN category.
  • XMBPD Rebugification Skin: New skin added to the style switcher, thanks to @Berion.
  • Content IDs for No-PSN and PSN Categories: New Content IDs added for easier identification and organization.

Installation Instructions:

To install XMBPD v0.70, simply install the provided .pkg file through your PS3 package manager. Make sure you are running a compatible version of Custom Firmware (CFW) or Homebrew Enabler (HEN) for full functionality. Once installed, you can explore the new features and access a wide range of PS3 packages directly from your XMB.

Installing Instruction :

CFW (Custom Firmware):

  1. Ensure your PS3 is running a compatible version of Custom Firmware (CFW).
  2. Download the XMBPD v0.70 .pkg file.
  3. Transfer the .pkg file to your PS3.
  4. Use the Package Manager on your PS3’s XMB to install the .pkg file.
  5. Once installed, launch XMBPD v0.70 and enjoy the new features

HEN (Homebrew Enabler):

  1. Ensure your PS3 is running a version of HEN that supports homebrew applications.
  2. Download the XMBPD v0.70 .pkg file.
  3. Transfer the .pkg file to your PS3.
  4. Use the Package Manager on your PS3’s XMB to install the .pkg file.
  5. Once installed, launch XMBPD v0.70 from the XMB to start using it.
